The cloud is a new revolutionary delivery model, but it is not meant to be a third-party model exclusively. Your company data is one of your most important assets: You should be able to decide where you want the data to be while keeping the benefits of new cloud technologies.
eyeOS is a software platform that virtualizes your users’ workspace. Once eyeOS software runs in your servers, it will manage the storage space and CPU capacity made available by you in your in-house IT infrastructure or in third-party data centers if you decide to do so. In that respect, eyeOS Professional Edition is not a SaaS service to be contracted by the company.
As software installed in the company servers, you will have full control over your system and the flexibility to personalize it to your needs. You can learn over time about the usage patterns and then decide to limit or expand the service. Of course, personalization applies at the interface level too where you can turn eyeOS into the cloud desktop of your company, prioritizing your top apps through the choice of menus, icons and shortcuts.
Security standards
Some of our customers have very specific security needs. eyeOS easily complies with these requirements since it plugs into the already working security authentication module. Thanks to this option, eyeOS is currently installed in big corporations, banks or Public Administration, each with a broad variety of security requirements. eyeOS Professional allows an easy customization of the users’ permissions, making it possible to characterize and define the different kinds of users in the system, adapting eyeOS to the company’s needs at all times.
Content personalization
Security is not the only area in which you will be able to personalize your environment. You will be able to add your current web applications to your eyeOS system. These applications can come from the web or in-house applications that run on your infrastructure.
Connect your company to your cloud
One of the most important objectives at eyeOS is to be able to offer you a complete desktop experience, because it’s important for users not to need to log out of their web desktops to access other applications.
Private to public, public to private
A whole eyeOS system can be migrated from an internal data center to a different cloud hardware vendor and vice versa easily: The only requirement is to duplicate the environment to a traditional migration, which can be done in a few hours. You will always be able to decide where you want your data to be.
